Faults and remedies on an Electronic Cigarette

 

A - The battery of your electronic cigarette does not last long or does not load

 

It could be due to several reasons, such has:- Electrical contacts and screw dirty.- Failure of the shipper,- Battery at the end of his life ( A battery can be recharged 300 times , approximately )- Battery does not "run ." (Check if you have the same symptoms with other batteries.) If you get the same result with another battery, it may be that your charger is defective.(Test with another charger.)If you have a mini transformer provided with the appropriate connector , try it , it may works .If the charger works with another battery , the battery is no longer supported.Clean the screw and stud center contact with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol .A new battery needs several reloads to acquire its maximum power.   

 

 

B - The battery flashes , starts alone and aspiration is difficult:

 

Some e- liquid has certainly been flowing into the battery.With a piece of paper towel rolled very thin , make a wick and insert it into the hole of the screw of the battery.Let your battery overnight on a sheet of paper towel , placed vertically, diode in the air to facilitate runoff.Logically , your battery should work normally again.   

 

 

C - The battery works, but does not heat the atomizer:

 

The atomizer tested on several batteries does not heat , do not produce any steam.Your sprayer may be simply " embedded " in other words , it is too soaked in e- liquid.Blow the mouth or using a bomb to air dry to remove excess liquid .If necessary, clean it as described in the previous chapter, hot water or in an ultrasonic cleaner , dry it and put 2 or 3 drops on the braid to restart .Clean the contact pad and the screw of the atomizer alcohol .If these maneuvers do not give anything , this is perhaps the central plot of your atomizer is slightly down and making contact with the battery , which sometimes happens when you tighten too strong atomizer on the battery .With a paper clip , make a small hook that will allow you to slightly increase the contact.Be careful not to rotate it , which could break the wire welded inside the atomizer and permanently damage your hardware.Note that this trick also applies to the central plot of the battery.   

 

 

D - The battery is cutting too fast: 

 

Normally, the chipset in the battery is set to cut the battery of your electronic cigarette after 5 seconds on average .After 5 seconds , the LED turns off and the battery is automatically cut.If your battery cut after only 2 seconds, it means there is a default chipset setting.If you have no improvement after a few refills , contact your seller.  

 

 

E - The  battery LED flashes quickly and the battery cut:

 

You have used too much of your electronic cigarette in a given period of time .The chipset that manages the battery tells you that smoking device needs to cool down.Wait a few minutes and it should be okay.Remember that the average intake frequency is a puff every 15 or 20 seconds and rest time is necessary for the atomizer to properly soaked .   

 

 

F - I have too little steam and a burn taste:

 

The atomizer of your electronic cigarette is dry.Either your cartridge is empty , or the transfer cartridge / atomizer does not work propely.If the cartridge is dry , put a new one in.If the cartridge was not complete ( even the e- liquid in the stuffing ) is that the transfer is not done well , the stuffing is too packed and retains the liquid.With tweezers , remove the floss cartridge , place it in a syringe and press the floss to extract the remaining liquid in a small airtight container ( bottles for urinalysis are free and ideal for pharmacy this purpose) .Once the stuffing is squeezed out, stretch it , split it if necessary, and put it back into the cartridge.The fiber must be sufficiently dense to retain the liquid when you bend it down.Experiment with splitting more or less fluff .The collected liquid in the vial can be fed or cleaned in virgin cartridges.Another solution is the use of the technique of dry smokingAfter harvesting what’s  left in the cartridge , or just bought a bottle of e -liquid , just put 2 or 3 drops directly on the atomizer braid and use the vacuum nozzle provided originaly on your atomizer.If you have more , use an empty cartridge without his flock .This technique often gives good results , a dense vapor and no burnt taste .The dry smoking also has drawbacks: the risk of drowning atomizer and risk of running into the battery.That is why it is not recommended to use this method with an automatic battery, but only with manual batteries with stuffy central plot .Finally, note that dry smoking is not very economical . 3 drops of e- liquid gives you about ten drags .Also avoid putting your fingers on the air inlets located at the atomizer / battery junction.Your atomizer must "breathe" normally.   

 

 

G - I have e -liquid that goes on my lips Several likely causes:

 

- You sucked too hard on your electronic cigarette and did not let enough time to e -liquid to vaporize .- Low battery. Change the battery .- You have overfilled your cartridges,  remove some e-liquid from the cartridge.- Empty the reservoir in contact with your lips , blow the lid with a paper clip (some types of cartridges do not have this tank , especially cartridges "beak" )

- Remove the cartridge from the atomizer and blow instead of suck.
